Driver Areas

Sometimes you want your drivers to work in a particular geographical area - for instance to handle all work in one or more postcodes. Optrak allows you to do this.

In the UK it works on postcodes - for example a driver could take all the work for postcodes SG13 and SG14. These are "Postal Districts" but it can also work at postal area "SG" or down to sector level - so you could say a driver does SG13 and SG14 2.

What Optrak does is to take all the orders within the designated area, create a trip for the driver and assign the orders to that trip, keeping the trip in the best delivery sequence to satisfy time windows.
